In short, the study found that the mean, median, and standard deviation of incomes for entrepreneurs ― controlled for education, general ability (as measured by standardized test scores), and demographics (including age and parental income) ― tended to be higher than those for good old-fashioned employees.

    • Thanks for the comment Ed. I tend to agree with what was mentioned in the article – “entrepreneurs can control their environments in order to play more to their strengths”.

      Leveraging your strengths and feeling more in control of your future will naturally result in greater happiness, and thus a higher level of personal performance. The larger financial outcome is a result of this ‘happiness’, not the cause of it.
